Negros Nine Abaca Weavers to Join 10-day Exhibit

Negros Nine Human Development Foundation has recently received an invitation from SM City Bacolod through their PR Manager, May V. Castro.  The invitation states that the “Negros Nine Abaca Weavers” has been selected as one of the participants to take part on special promotional campaign of Negros Occidental’s best products.

This SM Bacolod special project is dubbed as “My City, My SM, My Crafts”. And this is in partnership with The Department of Trade and Industry, CITEM, Bureau of Domestic Trade and the Philippine Star.

My City, My SM, My Crafts” ten-day exhibit will start on October 27 until November 5, 2014. The activity will be held at newly opened north wing of Grand Atrium of SM Bacolod. This expansion area is said to be the perfect venue to showcase the best of Negros products.

SM Bacolod has selected only 10 exhibitors to participate in their FREE market and product promotion activity.  An exhibitor like Negros Nine Abaca Weavers shall be allowed to sell abaca weaved products within the exhibit area and is free of rent.

To date, SM City Bacolod is the biggest mall in the province at 71,759 square meters gross floor area. It has over 50,000 foot traffic per day and almost double on weekends and holidays.

Other than free exhibit, SM Bacolod will give free Philippine Star centerfold exposure of the said event as well as on local tri-media and social media. 

During My Crafts event launch on October 27, 2014 at 5:00PM, there will be an audio-visual presentation featuring the Negros Nine and Negros Nine Abaca Weavers as well as the rest of participants.

With less than two weeks to go, all is set for Negros Nine Abaca Weavers for “My City, My SM, My Crafts” exhibit.

    2. Impart your talents or skills relating to protecting and caring for the environment. Be the speaker or manpower of the day at Negros Nine.
    3. Donate seeds and seedlings
  4. On Negros Nine Weavers – you can help by promoting the products or you can be a resource speaker or trainer on topics such as livelihood, agriculture, etc.
